That's a small concern to me.Īnd this is off-topic, but I don't know if you've seen their new product ShadowXafe. They still support it, but it is no longer under active development. ![]() One reason why we use FTPS instead of ShadowStream (besides that it's free - that is a huge reason), is that I learned at one point that StorageCraft no longer actively develops ShadowStream. We do have ImageManager on the remote side as well to do consolidation separately there. We replicate the intra-dailies in order to keep offsite data as live as possible as well as keep the individual replica files small for the transfers. It doesn't download and install its own updates automatically.Īny thoughts or ideas as to what's causing this issue? Maybe FileZilla server can only handle so many connections at once?ĬrashFF Nice to hear - I'm a huge fan of StorageCraft backups. The backup software itself has not changed as far as updates, etc. I even reinstalled FileZilla server in one instance. I have restarted the Co-Lo server systems. I have restarted the FileZilla Server service. However, there are sessions that have no file name. tmp file name representing the file being uploaded. I also see multiple "stale" sessions, but which I mean 2 things.ġ.) The backup software generally doesn't do more than 4 jobs at once based on how we configure it, and I see more sessions for a given account than that.Ģ.) Even sessions without a byte counter show a. However, that is not currently showing (maybe it only shows that up to a certain number of jobs, not sure). ![]() When I look at the FileZilla server console, normally I'd see each current session, with a byte counter next to it which is growing as more data for that session is uploaded. Upon reviewing our Bandwidth usage in the Co-Lo, we're not seeing it cap out at all. We have a 1 Gbps pipe in the Co-Lo and the server hardware running FileZilla has a 1 Gbps NIC. Replication jobs are queuing up and struggling to get even small files uploaded to the Co-Lo.īackups run every hour on the hour and are immediately uploaded. Recently, we're suddenly seeing issues with multiple clients having issues sending in their FTP backups. The FTP client is built into the backup software, but on the server-side we're using FileZilla Server. We have a Co-Lo to which 30-40 clients send backup data via FTPS. ![]() I'm hoping someone might have some ideas for me.
